A family business, rooted in the Alentejo.
Buijnink Internacional Unipessoal Lda was registered in 2008 in Monte Novo da Fataca, in the Odemira municipality on Portugal's southwest Atlantic coast. The land was originally a dairy holding; from August 2015 onwards, the operation was converted to the cultivation of ornamental cut foliage — today the company's principal activity, with around 630 hectares under cultivation from a single farm and a single operator.
What we do
We grow and supply cut foliage for the European retail & wholesale floral trade — eucalyptus and leucadendron & exotics, packaged at our farm and shipped through established cold-chain routes.
The team
The company is owned and run by the Buijnink family.
